Portraits of winemakers
CHÂTEAU DE TERRIDE, A BOLD BLEND OF LOVE FOR THE LAND

Château de Terride
It was the current winemaker Alix's parents who first fell in love with this former hunting estate in 1996. The second love affair was that of Alix and Romain, who now bring the estate to life through their two unique personalities. This Château, full of history and charm, sits on a domain with an aesthetic reminiscent of the landscapes of Tuscany, Italy. Just minutes from the town of Gaillac, this estate is cultivated with taste and offers numerous AOP Gaillac cuvées.
Alix and Romain: Boldness and Gastronomy
The estate's love story doesn't stop there. The uniqueness of Château de Terride lies in being guided by two maestros.
Alix is a bold winemaker proud of her heritage and region. She is committed to preserving the exceptional environment by cultivating the vineyard organically and defending local heritage at every opportunity. Her boldness is reflected in her cuvées named "Caprice d'Alix," where she works with rare Gaillac grape varieties such as Viognier and Grenache. Her cuvées are generous, daring, and modern.
Romain is a lover of gastronomy and food-wine pairings. He seeks to evoke strong emotions through the various cuvées he enjoys pairing during events he organizes at the estate.
The Vineyard of Château: An Exceptional Heritage
Located on the edge of the Gresigne Forest, the estate is part of a protected zone. It spans approximately thirty-four hectares. The cultivated grape varieties are primarily red: eighty percent of the vineyard is dedicated to red wines, notably Duras, Syrah, and Braucol. The remaining twenty percent is devoted to white wines, with Mauzac and Loin de l’Oeil as the main varieties.
We invite you to discover this estate without further delay. The only question will be: will you be tempted by a traditional gastronomic cuvée or a daring "Caprice" cuvée?
